KBEAR ST16MAX 16-Strand Cable Design and Audio Quality Benefits
The 16-strand oxygen-free copper configuration uses individually insulated conductors that reduce crosstalk and phase distortion, delivering cleaner signal transmission compared to standard single-strand designs. Five nines purity copper means 99.999 percent of impurities are removed during refinement, a specification that directly correlates with reduced high-frequency noise floor and smoother treble reproduction. Silver-plated connectors at both termination points resist oxidation and corrosion while maintaining consistent electrical impedance across the audio spectrum. The braided multi-core shielding protects against electromagnetic interference from mobile devices, wireless networks, and urban RF noise that clouds portable listening sessions. Compatible with 2-pin, MMCX, QDC and TFZ connectors, the KBEAR ST16MAX upgrade cable pairs seamlessly with hybrid multi-driver earbuds, balanced armature systems, and single dynamic driver earphones for immediate sonic improvement.

Order was very quick and the cable arrived well packed. The color is great and perfectly matches my iems. It’s very flexible and i’ve had no issues with it misbehaving either.

Exvellent quality cable for more demanding iem’s (like planars). Soft, without memory and with propprrly marked hooks. Doesn’t really change much in the sound, i would say. Most important, has zero microphonic effect, which is rare in the chi-fi world of accesories. I’ll buy another, as the 4.4 balance turned out ro be unecessary. Buy w/o worry.
